To be able to do its work, KKT has built up a multi-level human resource base, which is outlined below:
Remy Ssali
Remy Ssali is an accomplished banker who retired in 2005 after working for 28 years 19 of which were in banking.
He worked in various organizations before finally joining CENTENARY BANK where he spent 14 years and held various positions namely, Chief Accountant, Company Secretary, Deputy Chief Executive and General Manager Operations.
Remy has a wealth of experience in Microfinance, Commercial Banking, Development Banking, Bank Operations and Corporate Governance.
He is also involved in real estate business and is an external examiner for the Uganda Management Institute’s Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management as well as being the vice chairperson of Platform for Labour Action, an NGO that promotes the rights of vulnerable and marginalised workers.
Remy is holder of a Master in Banking and Finance from Finafrica, Italy, a Diploma in Management Control and Management Information Systems from Maastricht School of Management, an upper second Bachelor of Science honours degree in Economics and Statistics from Makerere University and a Certificate in Project Planning and Appraisal from Bradford University.
Lilian Keene Mugerwa
Lilian is a social political lawyer of over fifteen years work experience in both the public and private sectors. Lilian has specialized knowledge and expertise in both the theory and practice of social protection, law, gender, governance, human rights, labour, HIV/AIDS and policy analysis. She has executed assignments with both Government and Non Government agencies using participatory approaches. She has undertaken consultancy work for DFID, DANIDA, UNDP, UN-HABITAT, ILO, American Jewish World Service, and Action Aid International amongst others. Lilian has a good understanding of social protection, poverty, the MDGs and mainstreaming development concerns at international, regional, national and community level. Lilian has experience in quantitative and qualitative research and preparation of analytical reports as well as project design and management.
She holds a Master of Arts degree in Governance and Development from Sussex University United Kingdom, a bachelor of laws degree from Makerere University Kampala and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Kampala. She has headed a number of consultancy teams.
Abudallah Mayanja Kambugu
Mr. Mayanja Kambugu is a seasoned banker, trainer and consultant having worked in both national and international organizations.
He holds a Master of Science degree from London School of Economics and Political Science, an upper second Bachelor of Science honours degree in Statistics and Economics and a Diploma in Project Management from Harvard University.
Kasozi Mulindwa Saturninus
Dr. Kasozi Mulindwa is a business and financial management specialist, a Chartered Accountant a banker, administrator and a trainer. He has worked in both public and private sector organizations.
He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Birmingham UK, a Masters Degree in Development Finance from UK, B.Com (Banking and Finance) MUK, ACCA, a Diploma in Local Governance and Urban Management from the Institute of Housing Studies Rotterdam, and a Post Graduate Certificate in planning and project control (Strathclyde Business School).
Tamale Ismail
Mr. Tamale is a banker, statistician and agribusiness specialist with a working experience of 24 years in both the public and private sectors. Ismail has specialized knowledge and expertise in theory and practice of business mathematics, statistics and agribusiness management.
He is holds a Masters in Agribusiness management from Makerere University Kampala Uganda and has a Degree in Bachelor of Statistics & Applied Economics from Makerere University Kampala. He has several certificates in Export development programme for food ingredients, Training of Trainers, consultancy for export trade and Agricultural Projects planning.
He has worked among others with Kato Aromatic (U) Ltd as the Commercial Manager then as the Managing Director and Taimex (U) Ltd as the Managing Director. He has worked for Banks, Investment companies and agribusiness companies both locally and internationally.
He has trained trainers both locally and internationally and participated in several International exhibitions and workshops, i.e. SIAL in Paris France, Foodex in Tokyo – Japan and FIE in London. He is also a Board member in Agribusiness advisory committee at Makerere University and a Committee member of Uganda National Vanilla Association. He has made several presentations both locally and internationally, addressing the challenge of providing technology options that respond to demands and market opportunities for vanilla in Uganda and outside Uganda.
Antony Mburu
Mr. Mburu has a Degree in Business Administration and has worked with ACLAIM Africa ltd as an Associate consultant in business development, Global Wide publishers as the Marketing manager, East Africa Touch ltd as the General Manager and with several media agencies including doing research work for NGO Forum. He coordinated Africa Management Forum for four years within the East Africa region.
Associate Consultants
The company has retained a team of Associate Consultants with a wide range of disciplines in which they themselves are experts. These enable the company to boost its capacity and respond to a wide-range of client’s needs at relatively short notice.
In addition, there is a team of support staff which facilitates the running of KKT and makes it possible to render quality services to clients.
